They say she’s just at ease with a hair straightener as she is with a hand drill… That’s because Zoë Brown is the face and unofficial DIY-er on Expresso. Proof that she is not afraid of taking on any technological feats, Zoë took up the challenge of trying EMS training live on air when BODYTEC visited the studio.
“I loved every moment of it. After that first session I could feel in my muscles that I received a good workout all over,” she says. Zoë, who is also a radio presenter on Kfm 94.5 and trains at BODYTEC Sea Point, says: “I love the idea that I can squeeze a full body workout into 20 minutes – especially with my crazy schedule. Now I have no excuses not to exercise. The team at BODYTEC has added so much flavour to my workouts. They are fun and energetic and I love that I can reach muscle groups I usually otherwise would not have been able to.”
The convenience has worked for Zoë, but so have the results she has experienced. “My goal is to tone, and after a few sessions I started to feel the difference with the fit of my jeans. I used to be an avid runner and have been struggling to get back into the swing of things. EMS training has assisted me with core strength and leg stimulation. I’ve started running again and can feel a big difference!”
