‘Around the age of 50, one begins to think about the legacy one wants to leave in the world. Well, I’m certainly one of those people. My desire to be the best I can possibly be on a mental, physical, emotional and spiritual level has been the key to how I would engage with the world.
A vision that requires constant and consistent dedication. To this end, I am pursuing a Master’s Degree in Education at the University of Cape Town injecting new vigour into my mental, emotional and spiritual being. My present premenopausal phase remained disconcerting, as my physical body began taking on a form I did not recognise – weight gain and my newly found companion – my bulging belly! My daily visit to the gym and my restricted eating plan proved unrewarding.
I was determined not to be beaten, hence my research to improve upon my state of affairs. My son Liam encouraged me to investigate the BODYTEC EMS Training programme. I figured if anything I would be exposed to and participate in a scientifically designed programme that at the very least will help in giving my body a boost. My experience far outweighed my wildest expectations. The warm welcome and reception my son and I received from Troy and the trainers at The Kildare Centre in Newlands helped us find an extraordinary solution to our ordinary exercise weekly routine. We have grown from strength to strength, and remain enamoured by their and the other trainer’s professionalism, and determination to bring each session to fruition in a disciplined, empathetic and fun manner.’
