Don’t miss the next episode of Terug op die Veld on Tuesday, 6 August 2019, where BODYTEC helps former rugby legends train to regain the strength and agility they had before retiring from the game.
Every Tuesday evening at 17:30, DSTV channel 147 brings us the highlights, challenges, and tremendous work that former rugby players such as Werner Greeff, Bolla Conradie, Frikkie Welsh, and Wayne Julies are putting in to compete for a winning title and the chance to win R100 000.
It’s no secret that a reduction of consistent training will reduce one’s level of strength, stamina, and overall physical performance. In order to get back in shape and compete against some of SA’s finest players, each team of 10 will have 13 weeks to strengthen their performance – to relive the thrill of the game.
Not only do we get to see dramatic body transformations in fitness capability, but the show also delves into the personal highs and lows that each player experienced during their time as pro rugby players.
Weeks leading up to the big game will showcase each player competing for rewards to become the most improved – one of those rewards being is a year’s worth of BODYTEC training sessions. We can’t wait to see who that player will be.
Watch the show, every Tuesday evening at 5:30 pm to see which player will be awarded the BODYTEC training sessions, and which team wins! You can also follow the players’ journey on social media using the hashtag #TerugOpDieVeld.
Behind the scenes with Jeffrey Stevenson and BODYTEC personal trainer Natasha Hofmeester.
