With BODYTEC opening our 30th studio this year and announcing our partnership in Brazil, there was much to celebrate at the annual BODYTEC franchise meeting held in Rosebank in June. Twenty four studio owners, representing 30 BODYTEC studios across the country, got together to share experiences and ideas about EMS training.
“The meeting is a great platform to get new ideas and strategies in place for the year to come. We also use this day to elect our Regional Council, the representatives of each province who assist the Head Office team with various operational and marketing decisions,” says Rucien Petersen, Marketing, BODYTEC. Presentations at the get together included one on the latest fitness and EMS training trends, which was shared by Gerry Gerhardt, Head of the BODYTEC Training Academy after his fact-finding trip to FIBO in Germany, the leading international Trade Fair for Fitness, Wellness and Health.
Troy, studio owner of BODYTEC Newlands had this to say: “I always learn something new [at the annual meeting] which I can apply and implement at my studio.” Estelle, studio owner of BODYTEC Ruimsig agreed and said she “enjoyed meeting the other owners and I felt it was an opportunity to share new ideas and knowledge”. Hilde, studio owner of BODYTEC Eldoraigne found the brainstorming sessions useful. “I learned a lot about trainers, clients and the EMS industry,” she says.
