Chrissie Pike

Meet Chrissie…

Within just 5 weeks of BODYTEC EMS training, competitive horse rider and owner of the equestrian sportswear brand, Onyx Equestrian, has already seen improvements in her strength and stamina.

“There’s already a difference in how my body looks,” Chrissie said after she was invited to trial and train at BODYTEC Lonehill by studio owner, Mesh Reddy.

“I was hoping to strengthen all of my muscle groups as well as work on some rehabilitation for my hips. I suffered a hip injury and they have always been a weakness.” As a competitive horse rider currently competing in 1.20m showjumping classes, as well as managing her apparel brand, strength and stamina play a huge role in how effectively Chrissie can continue doing what she loves.

“BODYTEC has helped a lot with my rehabilitation. It’s improving my strength in those muscle areas while not putting too much strain on the hip joints. Strengthening the muscles around the joints will help me to avoid another surgery,” she said.

She was most impressed with the idea of a 20-minute session only once a week, which isn’t too long and allows her to focus on her riding and work, whilst still getting a proper weekly workout.

How BODYTEC EMS does more for you in 20 minutes

Stronger and more intense muscle contractions

BODYTEC uses Electro Muscle Stimulation (EMS) to achieve stronger, more intense muscle contractions than a voluntary exertion can achieve alone.

Focuses on specific muscle groups

Your personal trainer can control each muscle group by adjusting the training intensity of the various muscle groups on the EMS device according to your individual goals.

It activates up to 90% of the muscles

During EMS training, 90% of muscles are activated simultaneously with each contraction.
