Oomashree Reddy is incredibly excited to be bringing BODYTEC’s EMS training to Lonehill next month. As a wife and mother to two children aged 16 and 20, Mesh grew up in Durban in a suburb called Chatsworth. She completed her BCOM degree at UKZN in 1993. “I majored in Marketing and Business Administration and then worked for a few different companies eventually finding my niche in client and public relations in the healthcare industry,” she explains. “I really love working with people and feel strongly about the philosophy of treating people as you would like to be treated so this type of work suited me perfectly.” Her passion for people is infectious, making a franchise opportunity perfect for Mesh.
One of Mesh’s friends was training at BODYTEC and her impressive results convinced Mesh to give it a go. Once Mesh really got into EMS training, opening a branch of her own then became an obvious next step. “Now that my kids are older and more independent I have been exploring different options looking for the right next step in my journey,” she explains. “I wanted something that I could enjoy and be passionate about, something I believe in and where I could continue to work with people and make a positive difference.”
Mesh is passionate about horse riding and when she began taking her daughter for lessons, the instructor encouraged her to take a few lessons. “Now 12 years later my daughter and I own our own horses. I ride purely for pleasure most days of the week and my daughter rides competitively,” she says with a smile.
The BODYTEC Lonehill studio will be opening in Lonehill Shopping Centre, Lonehill Boulevard, Lonehill, Johannesburg in February 2019.
